I have something pretty cool to share with you all. Yesterday, I built my own nail polish rack. I'm a big fan of DIY projects, and when I came across this one, I knew I had to try it!
Here it is! :D
I used:
3 20"x30" black on black foam board
Zebra Duct tape
Hot glue
Exacto knife
It was insanely easy to assemble. And even though I'm not great with an exacto knife, it turned out great even with my wonky cut lines!
Here's where I learned how to make this awesomeness:
There are a ton of videos out there teaching you this exact same thing, so if you are confused about anything in this video, don't give up! Go search for another video!!
So far this rack holds my entire stash (it is more full than my photos...I have some polish on my table..) but I think I need to make another one soon!
I bought my foam board at a local school supplies store; Copelins. It cost a little over $16.00 for all three boards. I had purchased my zebra tape months and months ago, knowing I would use it some day. I think I got it at Hobby Lobby, but I don't remember the price. I know Wal-mart carries patterned duct tape.
This rack is surprisingly sturdy! And I will be mounting it onto my wall in my craft room as soon as I can figure out how to do that without a husband...lol.
What do you all think of this polish rack? Have you tried this? If you have, leave a comment with the link to a photo or blog post about your homemade polish rack! For those of you who haven't tried this, is this something you think you would??
I hope I have inspired you all to do something creative!
Until next time....
Christina
